We are now looking for a Second Level Operations Specialist that will be responsible for the coordination, management, execution and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support than offered by the 1st level Operations. This person shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.
You will:
Help with Assurance support activities
- Responsibilities
- Maintain the entire core network system.
- Ensure the implementation of the customer's full needs and follow process.
- Follow technology trend awareness to increase the productivity of the dependent information system.
- Tasks
- Daily, weekly, and monthly checks of nodes.
- Preventive and curative maintenance of nodes with available support teams.
- Regular system and data backups.
- Implementation of usual requests (SS7, SIP, diameter etc), except related to new projects. Involvement of available support teams if needed. Among other tasks: Core Network capacity planning - Policies' access - IP Routing - License monitoring and alert - etc.
- First and Second level troubleshooting of any latent issue or concern raised by client or third party
- Production of regular reports related to associated services.
- Network KPI follow up and action taking accordingly
- IREG and interconnection activities handling
- Core Signaling Protocol analysis and Core optimization with customer complaint handling
- Skills
- Experience required - 3 to 6 years.
- Experience in CS Core SME
- Be able to work under pressure while meeting client's deadlines.
- A strong asset would be having one or a combination of SS7 Sigtran Link / VoIP-SIP / Full IP/ NboIP/ AoIP/ ATM/ OSS/ ENM/ Netconf/ Wireshark/ Business Object/ Moshell/ Node Manager/ Winfiol/ Linux/Windows server.
- Be fluent in English and French.
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office suit especially in Excel would be an asset.
- Communication and presentation skills.
